For exact cuts, every inch counts. With its upfront lock level and range selector knob, the dual bevel slide miter saw gives you easy access to the bezel settings, so you can be confident that every cut is precise. The saw is also designed to change settings quickly and easily. When one cut is finished, change the settings on the saw's miter adjustment knob and transition the miter angles up to two degrees left or right for varying cuts.
Work in Comfort and Control
The miter saw features a miter detent override, which allows you to hold the detent lever away from the table for free rotation, giving you more control over the machine and the material you're working with. To keep your hands from straining, the handle can be moved into any of four positions for optimum user comfort. When you need to make quick, repetitive cuts, an electric brake stops the saw in seconds. Because this tool features a premium 72-tooth carbide-tipped blade, your saw stays sharp and ready for action.
Creates a Clean, Sturdy Work Area
Backed by a 15-amp motor, the miter saw lets you make powerful, confident cuts using the saw's 3-horsepower output. The large 21-inch base features sliding extensions that expand up to 37-1/4 inches total in length, providing extra grip areas and support for cutting longer materials. A handy tool-free clamp secures the object to the base to create a steady work area, while the length stop prevents your project from getting away during the cutting. In order to limit a sawdust mess, you can use the included dust bag to keep your area clean.
This dual bevel slide miter saw is backed by a manufacturer's limited one-year warranty.
What's in the Box

By John A. Shaw
Have used for two home improvement jobs. One was crown moulding the other was oak hardwood on stairs. This was my first miter saw and I rate myself as a home owner with gumption to take on tasks beyond my skill level. This saw certainly helped with the projects and has more abilities than I do. I found it accurate and easy to use. Bought with the Bosch stand. It sure is nice to roll it outside to share sawdust wiht the neighbors and fold it up for storage.

Although it weighs in at around 70 pounds, the heaviness is worth it. It is solidly constructed with excellent power. The cuts are right on, completely accurate no matter how small or big. This was money well spent.

While the handle's cheap plastic, everything else on this saw is wonderfully overbuilt and there is no play anywhere there should not be. Despite clearly being dropped numerous times by UPS, mine arrived perfectly adjusted right out of the frighteningly mangled box. It *had* slipped a little bit off of the zero bevel position, but a quick tilt and re-lock was all it took to get up and going. The table is nice and flat and the fence is rock solid, even when fully extended. There's no kick when the motor spins up and it brakes almost instantly when you let go of the trigger. Threw an 80 tooth Freud blade on and I haven't lamented the lack of a zero clearance insert so far. Making cuts with this thing is about as effortless as it gets.
But I do have some design gripes--the dust bag is beyond useless and never catches much of anything, blade changes almost take four hands unless you fully dismantle the top cover since there's no way to lock it up out of the way (I ended up using some packing tape), and the front-facing bevel controls, while conveniently within reach, are not very intuitive. While the promise of not having to reach around the thing sounds attractive on paper, I'd honestly prefer a more typical rear-mounted bevel lock that doesn't require any thought. The rails are definitely not the smoothest I've ever felt, but they travel just fine in actual use.
Overall, it's a really good saw, and I didn't see anything else in this price range that came close to the same build quality.
